Mid-Atlantic Consortium of Directors of Field Education at a Glance

The purpose of the Mid-Atlantic Consortium of Directors of Field Education is to provide a mechanism for Directors of Field Education in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia to address issues of concern around the quality of field placement, both on the graduate and undergraduate level. Additional goals include sharing information, coordination and cooperation between schools in training of field personnel, and enhancing the visibility and importance of field instruction in the total social work curriculum.
